Why this exists

Two things are happening to B2B content right now and they compound. AI Overviews compress commodity answers above the click. Eight competitors get summarized into one synthesized response, and your page keeps ranking but stops earning the click. I see this in client data every week: rankings stable, CTR down 35-72% across commercial pages in a single quarter. At the same event where Google introduced the "commodity vs non-commodity" framing, they also confirmed that scaled AI-generated content is now treated as spam. The economics of generic content broke twice over. This tool tells you which side your content is on. Five dimensions, scored against the framework Google itself outlined.

What you get

A score from 0 to 15 across five dimensions. A band: Commodity, Mostly Commodity, Differentiated, or Definitive. Every score comes with the actual evidence. For each dimension, the tool extracts verbatim quotes from your content — what counted as a named instance, what counted as a viewpoint, what counted as stakes. And for each dimension, it lists what's missing: the evidence types it looked for and didn't find. No hedging, no "it depends." If your page scored 2/3 on First-Hand Experience because the author byline is missing, that's what the report says. The full breakdown lands in your inbox after scoring. The headline number is on screen in under 15 seconds.

Who built this

I'm Baba Hausmann. I've spent 14 years in SEO, including leading Mollie's 2,011-page migration that won Friends of Search in 2023. I run an SEO consultancy in Amsterdam working with B2B companies — SaaS, lenders, equipment makers — on revenue-driven SEO. The non-commodity framework in this tool came out of seeing the same pattern across client engagements in early 2026: commercial pages losing 35-70% of clicks while rankings held. Pages with named customer stories and first-hand experience growing against the trend. Same domain, opposite outcomes. The tool is what I wish I'd had to score those pages systematically.

FAQ

Is this free?

Yes. The tool is free. We capture your email after scoring to send you the full report — the on-page score is the headline; the email contains the detailed breakdown.

Do you store the content I paste?

Yes, encrypted. Don't paste confidential content.

Why these five dimensions, not EEAT?

EEAT measures whether the site or author is trustworthy. Non-commodity measures whether the piece itself is replaceable. They overlap, but a high-EEAT site can still publish commodity content. The five dimensions are about the content, not the source.

What languages does it support?

English, Dutch, French, German, Spanish, Italian, and Portuguese. Other languages will be rejected — we're adding more later.

What happens after I score?

You see the headline score immediately. The full breakdown — every dimension, every piece of evidence we found, what's missing — is sent to your inbox.
